AutoUpdateWB 51.1 (23.7.2005)
This small patch makes the Workbench automatically update the contents
of a drawer window whenever a file is created/renamed/deleted inside its
associated directory by any other means than the Workbench itself.
It is especially useful when dealing with iconless files in a "Show All
Files" window, but it also affects real icons just like you would expect.
For instance, if you issue a Delete command from Shell, you'll see the
target file disappear from the window if it had a "fake" icon; if it had
a real icon instead, it will stay displayed until you delete its .info
file as well. However, if you first delete the .info file, the displayed
icon will immediately revert to the default one for that file type.
As another example, you could extract files from an archive to RAM: and see
each of them appear in real time in the Ram Disk window, as it is extracted.
