"It would be intresting to see the output message from ffmpeg . "
You can uncomment all "/* say xxx*/" in ClipGrab/Data/RunCommandAOS.rexx.

Yes converting from cli works
example:
appdir:Ffmpeg -i "Husky Shenanigans.mp4" -vcodec mpeg4 -qscale 0 -acodec libfaac -b:a 128k "Husky Shenanigans.avi"

The targe path point's to /work
It would be intresting to see the output message from ffmpeg .

To convert videos in ClipGrab, I use the following ffmpeg command :

APPDIR:ffmpeg -i FileName_INPUT.avi -vcodec mpeg4 -qscale 0 -acodec libfaac -b:a 128k FileName_OUTPUT.avi >NIL: *>NIL:

Could you download a video in "original format" and manually convert it in a CLI ?
Does it work ?

And what is the path that you specify in ClipGrab (in Settings tab) ?

When using a native filrequester it only works, if you choose a subdir. Eg. dh1:clipgrab, choosing just dh1: doesn't work. PLUS whenever you trie to load another clip (no matter which format), the native filerequester doesn't work anymore (e.g. button "volumes"). Just downloading in original format always works with native filerequester, even if you only choose a volume (e.g.dh1 or RAM:)
All is fine, when you use inbuild filerequester! This is strange...

-selected "AVI" format as conversion output
-selected "RAM Disk/ClipGrab" as output directory.

Could you try this scenario and/or delete your Clipgrab config file ?

However, I have noticed a problem, which is probably an oversight, if I select AVI as the output format, once the download is complete it asks me for GDB in SDK:... end users (like me) won't have the SDK installed and so this particular process fails - although its great that the Cancel Download button doesn't it job after this failed attempt to convert the clip.
