For me too, the v3 doesn't seem to work (and I have too the "missing argument"). 
 
With v2, the sample posted below by TSK (on 01 Sep 2012) was working nice. NoGuruv2 grabbed the Alert. 
But now, I have a normal Recoverable Alert.

Maybe it's me, but I get a "bad arguments, see --help" error when I try to launch NoAlert.elf 3.0. I don't see what could be the missing argument. Any suggestion ?

I expect this patches to become obsolete in the future, if wont to run it from wbstartup you can snapshot the exe file, this give you a icon, then use wbstartup prefs application, droping the files in wbstartup drawer will not do a thing, thats way its easier and simpler to use user-startup script.

Would it be possible to turn it into a commodity some day? That way it could just be dropped into the WB Startup. I find running things from User-Startup to be a bit old fashioned and messy these days. Plus it only goes well when the installer does it so I don't have too. ;-)

I still get yellow alerts when attempting to run some 68k programs that cannot, for example, find their specific fonts. Does this program not intercept those for some reason, or do I not have it installed properly?

Thanks! Now I can workaround USB locking up on my X1000. :-) 
 
But, what about suspending the task that causes the yellow alert? This make seense to me.

I think a redirect to TimedDosRequester might have been better, but regardless - if this makes it possible to click past recoverable alerts with a USB mouse, it is well worth installing (and I have done, but it might be a while before I actually see it in action)
