Ok, I have something like this now (omit [debug] strings): 
#GetVersion ram:ExtraVersion/ExtraVersion 
[debug]temp='????' ($EXTVER) file='ram:ExtraVersion/ExtraVersion' 
[debug]'$EXTVER: ExtraVersion 1.0b (26.02.2016) This release is a beta version.' 
$EXTVER: ExtraVersion 1.0b (26.02.2016) 
This release is a beta version.

Do you want/like that both versions string show or only if no $VER then try $EXTVER (or viceversa).

How do I download extversion includes/autodoc/example? So I can take a look and try to implement inside getversion

How about adding support for EXTVER as well?
