Massimiliano Scarano (93.45.40.99) @ 10 Nov 2010, 03:59.54

By: Massimiliano Scarano (93.45.40.99)

There seems to be a minor bug. For certain combinations of screen resolution / depth, the grabbed screen is slightly bigger than expected, resulting in few black pixels at the end of each row. Technically speaking, this is due to p96GetBitMapAttr(Width), which doesn' t return the expected value. I suspect an alignment issue. Any idea?

Thanks to Kas1e who found and reported the problem for first.

I.e. for example i have an 1440x900x16bit resolution, and when i grab it, it grabs as 1472x900. And all the other area (other 32 pixels) are black. There is few screenshot examples (at the right side, that black line, and size of screenshot also 1472x900, but not 1440x900):

Thanks one more time for such good/tiny/shiny app. Some time some games in window mode do not allow you to move mouse outside of their working area, so it pretty hard to use sgrab, but with help of your utility all of this easy and works fine :)

The only little "maybe for wish list": maybe somekind of key to say for utility saving it to png/jpg ? Of course it will be out of the main idea about saving to clipboards , but maybe release that tool with different name and with ability to save jpg/png ?

anyway, its pretty good already. thanks
