a cron let's you launch programs,
maybe open a requester, at specified date/times.

like the Windows Scheduler in w95/98.

thanks but there is something missing : the automatic clock sync at each
boot/powerup.

Each time I powerup my A1, I have to adjust the clock via a timeserver in time
prefs.
how cool would it be to use docket to do that (after telling it to launch tcp/ip
stack of course).

well in fact the config GUI is missing a tab named = at powerup (or upon boot).

I don't know what "cron" is. Could you post a screen-shot or
something..?
