Thanks for your effort on this. I have arranged me with Allkeys to use the 4th and 5th Mousebutton of my M$-Intelli-Eye-Mouse. Maybe when your driver becomes matured you can add my Mouse too.

Thx to tploetz I can confirm that XeroMouse works even if it is placed within the Kickstart. There are some caveats, though... "bootmouse.usbfd" has to be inactive, and there should be no XeroMouse file within DEVS:/USB/fd (DEVS:USB/fdclass). Besides that, if XeroMouse is listetd in Kicklayout and placed in SYS:Kickstart/ it works with Early Startup.
