Less than 60k, but very usefull to get special chars... It can be usefull for programmers, and as a Reaction example, perhaps... It's localized and it's a commodity. You can copy every char in the clipboard (unit 0). No doc included, I think it should be unusefull as using the program is very simple. Just click on the icon and try to use it... Requirements: nothing special, OS4 only (can easily be adapted to OS3). Installation: just copy the ASCIITable program in c: (or elsewhere, if you prefer) with or without its icon (to run it from Workbench or not). And copy the ASCIITable.catalog in your LOCALE:Catalogs/french drawer if you are a french user. Edit the icon tootypes to change the popkey (CX_POPKEY) and open or not the window on startup (CX_POPUP=YES or NO). Default key is lcommand a ("left command" and "a" keys). You can launch the program from CLI also, template is : run ASCIITable FONT/K,SIZE/N,PUBSCREEN/K,NOWIN/S Example : run ASCIITable Font "DejaVu Serif.font" SIZE 14 PUBSCREEN QuickFile If the NOWIN parameter is specified the window will not be opened at startup, you'll have to type the popkey or use Exchange to open the window when needed. Note to translators : old versions of spanish and italian catalogs are joined in the Catalogs drawer, if somebody is interested, update them and give them to the community. |
