RecentDock
----------------
Version: 0.5 (Dec 25/2011)

Written by: Michael A. Piva

Special Thanks to Chris Young / Unsatisfactory Software for writing the
Installation script.

Description:
------------
Creates an AmiDock dock for keeping track of the 10 most recently
used files that have been opened via RecentDock methods.

Installation:
-------------
Just Double-click the Install icon and follow the directions:

*NOTE* - "RecentDock" and all the "Doc#" files MUST have the "S"
bit set for the Dock to work correctly. If you're having troubles,
double-check these bits.

Usage:
------
The basic dock only contains two items:

+------------------------+
| Recent Documents |
| Open Document... |
+------------------------+

Clicking on "Recent Documents" brings up a Subdock with the 10
most recently used files, with the most recent on the bottom and
the least recent on the top. Clicking on any item one the list
will load the file like it has been double-clicked in Workbench.
This means that it will use the document's default tool as
specified in its icon or, for iconless files, whatever has been
configued with DefIcons. That document's name will then be bumped
back to the bottom of the list with all the other document name
being shifted up one.

(If a document in the RecentDocuments list is deleted or moved,
the document's entry in the Recent list will be changed to:
***CANNOT FIND FILE***)

Clicking on "Open Document..." will bring up a requestor and allow
you to open any file like it had been double-clicked on from the
Workbench. This file's name is then added to the bottom of the
"Recent Documents" list and will bump the 10th item off the list.

Unfortunately, I don't have the coding skills necessary to find
some way to intercept regular double-click events from Workbench
and add those files to the "Recent Documents" list but, for added
convenience, "ContextMenus.cfg" is modified to RecnetDock-friendly
version of the "Open" option that will open files via RecentDock.

To use this feature, right-click on any document and select the
"RD_Open" option from the Contect Menu.

Limitations:
------------
-As stated before, RecentDock will only keep track of files loaded
via "Open Document..." or through the Context Menu.

-There is no easy way to make the "Recent Document" list longer or
shorter than 10 items

-If you're silly enough to open a document via "Open Document..."
or through the Context Menu even though the item was already on the
"Recent Document" list, that file will now show up on the list twice.

-Even though this Dock is meant for keeping a list of recent
"Documents", Programs that are opened via a RecentDock method will
show up on the list as well.
