The "lpr.device" driver allows you to print with your Amiga on every printer
or print server that supports the Unix LPR protocol and which is connected to
your machine by means of a device (e.g. ethernet card) that can be used by a
TCP/IP stack.
This is accomplished by "emulating" the behaviour of the "parallel.device"
driver. The emulation will redirect the data to be printed via the TCP/IP
stack to the printer in question. Typically, this allows data to be printed
much faster than through the parallel port.
The port to AmigaOS4 was done by Stephan Rupprecht.
