Introduction
============

Cranu is a GUI for various archivers available for AmigaOS. It allows you to
quickly and easily create archives from a comfortable GUI. It comes with
profiles for LhA, LZX, Zip, Tar/GZip and Tar/BZip2. It is possible to create
profiles for other archivers and distribute them seperately to Cranu itself!

0.1 BETA (8th Feb 2006)

0.2 BETA (11th Feb 2006)

  � Removed debug accidentally left in 0.1
  � If adding a large directory takes longer than 2 seconds, a progress window
    now appears so you can see the program is working. It also contains an
    abort button.
  � Added the ability to archive files from higher in the directory tree


0.3 BETA (18th Feb 2006)

  � Double clicking in the filebrowser now only opens a directory if the same
one
    was highlighted for both clicks
  � The "Abort" gadget on the progress requester now actually works

  � The main window is now an "AppWindow". Icons can be dragged onto it
    and they will be added to the archive list.

0.5 BETA (15 Jan 2007)  

  ��Now accepts files to archive in workbench arguments. This means that you
    can shift-click a bunch of icons, and then with shift held down double-
    click on Cranu's icon and it'll run with those selected files listed
    ready to archive. It also means you can drag icons onto Cranu's icon in
    AmiDock and it'll pop up with those files listed and ready to archive.
  � Includes 32bit icons
  � Includes italian, french and german translations

1.0 (24 Oct 2008)

  � Compiled with GCC 4.0.3
  � Fixed a bunch of warnings
  � Uses the new DOS functions for directory scanning etc.
  � Removed any 32bit filesize limits (NOTE: just because Cranu has no 32bit
    limits doesn't mean the archivers don't!)
  � Updated sources to my current programming style
  � Shows file sizes in bytes/KB/MB/GB/TB where appropriate

  � Compiled with GCC 4.2.4
  � You can now specify "0" for maxcalls, which means Cranu passes all
    files to the archiver in one call.
  � You can now also specify if archivers support adding to existing
    archives. If an archiver does not support this you can't use it
    when archiving across partitions.
