Claws Mail is an email client based on GTK+. The appearance and interface are
designed to be familiar to new users coming from other popular email clients,
as well as experienced users. Almost all commands are accessible with the
keyboard. The messages are managed in the standard MH format, which features
fast access and data security. Emails received or written with Sylpheed can be
easily imported.

Lots of extra functionality, like an RSS aggregator or a calendar, are provided
by extra plugins. Most of them are compiled in the claws-mail binary. These
plugins and the comfortable and feature rich UI are the main advantages to the
recently published Sylpheed mailer. Because of serious problem while porting
the library "libetpan", support of the protocols IMAP4 and NNTP is not included!
