"PictureWidget" is another one of my 'bloated' programs that I made with
Hollywood 3.0. I hope you enjoy it!
PictureWidget can display either a single image or a random slide show of
various images. If you click on the PictureWidget (or if your mouse rests over
it without movement), a control panel is displayed from which you can adjust
various things such as the delay between pictures in the slide show, the widget
location and size, etc.
*Hint: If you resize while holding F1, then the new width is used and the height
is adjusted proportionately; and if you resize while holding F2, then the new
height is used and the width is adjusted proportionately.
If you want to have PictureWidget launched at start-up, just drag the
"WBStart_PicWid" icon (script file) into your WBStartUp drawer---BUT BE SURE TO
SET THE PATH OF THIS SCRIPT TO THE LOCATION OF PICTUREWIDGET ON YOUR HARD DRIVE
(using a text editor like NotePad). You may also want to adjust the "wait" time
in this script depending on what else is being launched from the WBStartUp
drawer.

History:
Version 1.6 (9/10/08):
*Fixed a transparency bug that shows up in OS 4.1.
Version 1.5 (1/30/08):
*Finally, with the new functionality offered in Hollywood 3.0, I've been able to
replace the ugly resizer frame with a Reaction one.
Version 1.4 (1/16/08):
*Fixed a bug that would show up when viewing large lists of pictures.
Version 1.3 (12/18/07):
*Added the ability to use "prebuilt" picture frames---two such frames are
included ("redwood" and "bluewood" from A-Foto on Linux).
*Fixed a bug that would show up when displaying full-size images if the path to
that image had spaces in it.
Version 1.2 (12/14/07):
*PictureWidget now detects and uses a picture's alpha-channel when present.
*Under the flashlight button the option was added to view the current image
full-size. This will launch whatever program you have set in your DefIcon prefs
to view the picture file on a double-click.
*Under the window frame button the option was added to use a bitmapped graphic
as a pattern for the frame. (If you decide not to use any pattern, choose
nothing in the pattern requester).
Version 1.1 (12/2/07):
*Fixed a small bug that could show up after removing a picture from the list
Version 1.0 (11/25/07):
*First Attempt
