This is a collection of some (more or less) simple games for the AmiCygnix
Unix environment. Most games are board- or cardgames. Each game can be in-
stalled separately!

* The Ace of Penguins
A collection of one-player games for X. Every game has an compiled in online
help (except canfield). Type 'h' to view it. With 'r' you can restart the
game. Type 'q' to quit the game.

- mastermind - the well known code-breaking game
- merlin - a logic game similar to "lights out"

- thornq - a cardgame
For your convenience I wrote the launcher "ace-gui", from where you can
start every game easily.

* BomberClone - A game like "Super Bomberman". With network support.

* GLightOff - a simple (but not so easy to solve!) puzzle game. The goal is
turning off all the lights on the board. GLightOff uses the GTK2
toolkit.

* gSoko - a GTK+ clone of the famous Sokoban game. The goal of the game is to
push all the boxes on the squares with a red pattern.

* gTans - the Tangram is a chinese puzzle. The object is to put seven
geometric shapes together so as to form a given outline.

* GtkAtlantic - a game like "Monopoly" (tm). It is a network game, so you must
launch the server first and then a client for every player. To
start a game, you must proceed this way:
- For a local game launch the GtkAtlantic server first.
- Launch the client an click on "Enter".
- To join to a public server click on "Refresh games", select
a server and click on "Create/Join Game".
- To create a game on the local server, click on "Get games",
select the local sevrer in the list and then on
"Create/Join Game".
- Repeat above item to add more players.

* Sudoku-Savant - a clone of the board game "Sudoku".

* XaoS - a fast interactive fractal zoomer. Includes a very interresting
animated tutorial.

* XEmeraldia - a variation of the game "Tetris".

* XGalaga - a clone of the shoot 'em up game Galaga for X11.

* XLightOff - the X11 version of GLightOff. Has an ugly GUI, but with some
additional features.

* XMahjongg - a solitaire game. The object is to remove all 144 Mah Jongg
tiles from the playing area by matching them two at a time.
For your convenience I wrote the launcher "xmahjongg-gui", where you can
select the tile design, the board style, the background gfx and finally
launch the game.

* xtris - a multiplayer tetris clone with network support.

Installation
------------
The X11 environment AmiCygnix version 1.0 (or higher) must be installed
before! AmiCygnix is available on OS4-depot (http://os4depot.net).
To install the package, just click on the "Install"-icon. The data will be
installed into the AmiCygnix package. Afterwards you can find the programs in
"Cygnix:Software".
