Update release of native OS4 RIFF/WAVE datatype. This update
adds support for Microsoft and IMA (Intel/DVI) adaptive differential
pulse code modulation (ADPCM), u-Law, A-Law, and IEEE floating point
samples (64-bit floating point is untested at this point.)
Audio samples may be up to 32-bit in size: tested with 8, 16, 24 and
32 bit sample sizes only but peculiar (left shifted) sample sizes
are provided for. Samples with multiple channels (that is, not simply
mono or stereo) are filtered for left/right channels with the remaining
channels discarded.
Extensible WAVE formats of those specified is accounted for but testing
has been minimal due to shortage of appropriate files.
