Overview
-----------------------------------------

ptplay is a commandline Protracker player. The player does not
depend on customchip hardware, and was written from scratch to
emulate Protracker 2.3a in software. All mixing is performed
internally and directed to a single AHI output channel.

Warning: ptplay mostly aims to be complete, and it's slow. Buffer
refill may be even too slow to catch up on a 68060 at 44.1Khz,
when stereo, high quality and lowpass filtering are enabled.

Note: ptplay can be used together with pt-player-gui for an easy to
 use gui.
