GQview is an image viewer, that makes navigation of images easy. Images can be
viewed full screen, and a slide show function allows automatic changing of the
displayed image.
GQview is an image manager, with complete copy, move, rename, and delete func-
tions available at the press of a button. Find the right image with the search
feature. Image collectors can free up space with a function that finds duplicate
images.

Version 2.1.5 is declared beta by the author of the program. The program is
working very stable under AmiCygnix and has some nice additional features.


New in this release

  * The program was compiled with GTK+ 2.24.32. As a result, among other things,
    drag 'n drop now works.

  * Update of the links to external programs.

  * New start scripts for the start on the desktop and the standalone start.

Installation
------------

  The X11 environment AmiCygnix version 1.6 (or higher) must be installed
  before! AmiCygnix is available on OS4-depot (http://os4depot.net).

  To install the package, just click on the "Install"-icon. The data will be
  installed into the AmiCygnix package. Afterwards you can find the program in
  "Cygnix:Software/GQview-2.1.5". To launch the program doubleclick on
  "Start_GQview_Desktop.bat" or "Start_GQview_Standalone.bat".
