Cass,
I don't know transmission but you can download with ctorrent. I precise that I succeed using some few udp sites like udp://tracker.opentrackr.org. You can select the source with -u.

"Invalid announce URL (udp:// ....)" error.
Probably due to an old version of transmission, it won`t handle udp trackers?

@Thematic

Nup. I tried to download a small 13MB file. Just one. To my RAM disk. First I got an error the file didn't open and it had. The download started and later I brought up a window to check info and change settings. I tried to change some but the window gadgets went dead. It looked like it was still downloading but apart from mouse my system locked up. I had to reobot and confirmed it had crashed.

I thought it's alright if the files are below 2 GB and you activate one torrent at a time.

Is this project dead? This looked nice but it's buggy, doesn't open files as it shuuld, brings down the system and will crash! Oh yes it wil also freeze if you don't watch it. :-o

Once again I am reminded why I can't trust OS4 with torrents. Shame really.

The problem with Drag'n Drop is actualy down to ReAction.

if you update a gadget like the status bar it stops D'N'D... so every time I
update the status bar.. it breaks D'N'D.. to be honest I don't know how to fix
it, other than stop the RA updating every second.

I dont think its the docky,
it happened before i added that,
ive added code to remove the docky and theres an option in the prefs.
But also, ive just noticed if i iconify in the latest version i have here the
stutters go away.

The dock icon is interfering with drag and drop and I can't get rid of it.

I got what I wanted and it looks great but crash all the time :-( . That was
pretty much expected but it's too bad that a program that looks so good works so
terribly bad.

@K-L

Nah, I just renamed the old cli based transmission.lha yesterday as requested by
the uploader of the old file.

Ok, my comment appears here but yesterday, there seems there was a bug because
the file I downloaded (and commented) was not this one.

There is a nice GUI, it appeared as soon as I launched the program...
I'll upload screenshots :-)
