For those unaware, you can enable test levels by putting "cheat 1" into neverballrc.

No probs! ... only if someone more skilled could do something about the clipping. Apparently it needs to be fixed in SDL?

I am running the game without changing any settings and instead of coins in full screen mode I get sort of circular tubes pointing up in the are that block the view of what's behind them and the screen goes blank as you move though them.

But as I said switching to windowed mode works without problems, which seems a bit odd.

I am running OS4.1 update 1 on my sam440ep and have hardware compositing switched off if that makes any difference as otherwise I run out of video ram rather quickly with only 64MB of ram.

There are sometimes issues when changing the texture or graphical modes and then immediately playing the game. It works fine after quitting and restarting the game. No issues with 800x600 or coins missing in fullscreen here. I assume by "clipping" you mean collision detection? Not getting any of those issues here if I don't change of the graphical settings without restarting the game. I still have the old binaries if you're interested, just a couple of meg. Let me know before I get rid of them.

Works well in windowed mode on my sam440ep but the coins are missing in full screen instead I seem to get clipping errors at the default resolution of 800x600.

Well, spotUP told me seeing as I linked everything static, I should just release this now. Seems stable enough.

You've linked this against the SVN code? If it was ready, i would have done another release archive. *sigh*

1.5.1 is not able to display a list of screenmodes. Simply edit the config file yourself.

Ok solved, just edited the file "neverballrc" using my own resolution ;-)

samo79, try compiling it from the source. Instructions are included in the .readme (albeit very brief).

It don't work at all on my Sam Flex, I have a big graphical corruption when I try to start both games :-(

spot.. Furthermore, 1.4.0 is fairly easy to compile. I didn't use the sources you gave me. I downloaded 1.4.0 .tar.gz fresh, and it was pretty much a breeze.

spot,

"is this my still buggy version that you promised not to spread or a fixed one?"

No way. I'd never do that. I compiled this myself. The sources are in "Uploads" right now, and there is no crash when switching audio modes (cept in Neverputt the ball audio doesn't work until a restart).

what happens if you switch from low/hi quality music in neverputt?

Lumby, i'll upload the source package soon and you can try it out. You'll need libogg, libpng, libtiff, minigl, sdl_ttf, libsdl, libsmpeg, zlib, libfreetype, sdl_image, sdl_mixer and libvorbis installed on top of the SDK.

Then simply type "sh", then "Make". After it's compiled it generates the .sol maps automatically, and then you can run the game.

Works fine on os4.1 / peg2.

Game itself in high quality and looks modern (uses MiniGL). Only full scree mode works through (game itself have window-mode option, but aos4 still buggy about that).

Nice game.
