Now you can bench with same algorithms a great number of amigalike systems about respective cpu/fpu and memory performances. For 68k binaries is requied at least a 68ec020 cpu and an 68881 fpu. For Dhrystone benchs there are three versions of binaries based on V1 and V2 classic algorithms, each for respective AmigaOS version. For Whetstone benchs there are three versions of binaries based on V1 and V2 classic algorithms, each for respective AmigaOS version. For Sieve benchs there are three versions of binaries, based on classic algorithm of 'Byte magazine' Sieve, each for respective AmigaOS version. For BogoMIPS benchs there are three versions of binaries, based on classic algorithm of Linux kernel, each for respective AmigaOS version. For QuickSort benchs there are three versions of binaries, each for respective AmigaOS version. Important notes: C Source codes are included. Developed and tested under MorphOS (PowerMac G5 quad - GCC v9) and OS4.1fe (Pegasos II - GCC v8.4). Program is heavily based on the classic sources codes taken over internet, changes are minimal and targeted only for a better compile (GCC without any optimization) under amigalike systems and focused mainly on timing code. Some tests for OS4 runs well under MorphOS via OS4EMU while all AmigaOS3 runs on both MorphOS and OS4.1fe systems ;-) To do: build a new program to control all single benchs and elaborate single results in one screen. History: New in v1.4 version added classic Quicksort benchmark. New in v1.3 version added BogoMIPS benchmark, fix readme default tool New in v1.2 version added AmigaOS3 binaries, fixed bugs and inconcistencies. New in v1.1 version added Sieve benchmark based on "byte magazine". New in v1.0 version first version released! Enjoy, Amiga Rulez! |
