Documentation and catalog are french only, for the moment. You can use the .cd and .ct files to write other catalogs, if you want. Feel free to distribute these catalogs. The installation is rather simple: just copy the Amigen drawer where you want, a Work partition should be a good place. Then move the AmiGen drawer from the AmiGen/ENVARC drawer to ENVARC: Then you should be able to run the program, don't forget to edit the options before working with the program. You can use the Import GEDCOM menu to load a base, the Scion bases should work. The 2 examples included in the package (Carolingiens and PicassoFamily) are just given to see some possibilities of the program. The second one includes some of my ancestors... I didn't include all of them, my personal base includes more than 107000 persons at this moment, ancestors and cousins, more than 50000 baptism and birth acts, 39000 death and burial acts, more than 19000 marriage acts... It works nice and fast. Have fun using this software, have a good 2025 year. Roland |
