[Show comments] [Show snapshots] [Show videos] [Show content] [Show crashlogs] This is a simple gui for Olaf Barthel's SMBFS (A SMB file system wrapper for AmigaOS, using the AmiTCP V3 API) The archive comes with a Installer script, please install SimpleSMBFS GUI to the directory where smbfs executable resides or make sure that smbfs is placed in C: (SYS:C/) Whey you run Simple SMBFS GUI, please fill in the details: Username => Administrator username for Samba share Password => Administrator password for Samba share Remote Server => IP Address of remote computer(You can also enter computername (such as DELLPC e.t.c) but that always doesn't work. Shared Folder => Name of the folder on the remote computer If the above information is current, a SMBFS icon will appear on Workbench, when you press "Connect Network". "Disconnect Network" stops SMBFS and removes the share from Workbench. SMBFS will not be terminated until all process is finished. "Save Settings" saves your details to ENV: and ENVARC: Simple SMBFS GUI supports Notifications on AmigaOS4.1 so you will see notifications according your activity. Simple SMBFS GUI uses Reaction and requires AmigaOS 4.1. Tested on X5000 and A1222.
