By far the most capable Amiga browser today, able to display most pages correctly. Runs perfectly and quite fast on my X5000/20. Thanks for the update!

There are NO users who would use ISO-8859-5. The standard for Russian users is Amiga-1251. Only Windows-1251 and UTF-8 are used in the Russian segment of the Internet. Is it really so hard to understand that there are no other encodings for Russian networks? This is a broken browser in which you can not type. At least for now.

@blmara

It's because of SVG. See http://bugs.netsurf-browser.org/mantis/view.php?id=2313

As a workaround, either assign HTTP: somewhere or install http-handler to get rid of it.

Using NetSurf 3.5 (6 Apr 1016, tells the screen title ;->), I have problems with Finnish Broadcasting Corporation site http://www.yle.fi. When entering site, NetSurf/Dos.library requester prompts for HTTP: assign numerous times. Why is that?

@benny

That is a bug in Installer. I'm amazed nobody has spotted it before as it relates to some default help text. I've reported it for you here: http://forum.hyperion-entertainment.biz/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2456

Nice but does not install by Installer:

I have the Dutch language on my Amiga, but the installer says:

PARAMS: Resultaat string te lang in regel 301

[ translation: string too long line 301 ]

I agree with Chris. 3.1 is the version, but the latest 3.1 release, which is important to have in mind. I'm very happy with this latest version. It's also noticeable faster and a very useful addition of native AmigaOS4 browser. Thanks for the update! Works great here!

@Lemen

No, it's v3.1. The internal string is v3.2 because AmigaOS minor version numbers start at 1, not 0. Usually the CI system builds NetSurf and the revision number has no relation to the release version, however I had to build this release manually, so it got minor version number 2 (v3.0 was minor ver 1).

The best thing to do is ignore the internal number, it has to be "correct" for AmigaOS but users don't need to look at it.

Isn't this version 3.2 ?
Version String > NetSurf 3.2 (27/04/2014)
The version number remains at 3.1 on screen title etc.

Netsurf opens it own screen but in 8-bit mode!
I changed some prefs on Resources/options and entered screen_depth:32
but the screen is oversized and doesn't fit well.
Why doesn't change to a 32bit depth?
Anybody solved right this behaviour?
