README
------

Legal blah blah:
This game is copyrighted under the terms of the GNU General Public license.

Well this is spacewar. The mission is to destroy the enemy ship... Not much more
to say about that. Ah almost forgot when you hold the fire button your ship will
fire as fast as possible (currently half a second delay between shots).

Keys
----
Player 1:
UP = up
DOWN = down
LEFT = left
RIGHT = right
FIRE = return

Player 2:
UP = t
DOWN = g
LEFT = f
RIGHT = h
FIRE = s

Screenshots
-----------
Since version 0.2 it is possible to take a screenshot of the game. Just press
'p' and the screenshot will be written to disk as a bitmap named screenshot.bmp
in the bin directory. Please note that older versions will be overwritten when
saving a new screenshot.

Troubleshooting
---------------

Low framerates in Linux:
Make sure your desktop is set to 16 bits before you run the game. At my box this
trick improved the framerate by 150% so it might be of use :-).

Low framerates in Windows:
In windows, SDL_Flip() waits for a vertical blank. So every frame, the game
waits until the screen is ready to display a new image. This means that the
framerate can never be higher ( or its a round-up error ofcourse ) than the
monitor's refresh frequency. So if your monitor has a refresh frequency of 75Hz,
the framerate wont be any higher than that.
