-----!!!--------
The archive contain NO data files, only binary. Game are commercical, so you
should buy the game to have datafiles. If you will run it as it, without
datafiles, all you will have is just black window and nothing else.
-----!!!--------

Barony is a 3D, first-person roguelike. The goal of the game is to descend to
the bottom of a dark dungeon known as the Devil's Bastion and destroy an undead
lich named Baron Herx, who terrorized the peaceful town of Hamlet in life and is
now harboring a curse against the land from beyond the grave. To aid you in your
quest are friendly humans who have been seeking out a rough life within the
dungeon for generations, as well as any friends you can bring with you in real
life: Barony is the first of its kind as a first person roguelike in that it
fully supports cooperative multiplayer for up to four players.

For amigaos4 and Pandora's source code visit ptitSeb's page:
https://github.com/ptitSeb/Barony

....How to install.....

1. You must use data files from Blessed Addition. Recommended to use 32bit
windows version. Can be bough for example there:
https://www.gog.com/game/barony_cursed_edition
(the name of archive still "CursedEdition", which can be kind of misleading, but
its Blessed Addition).

2. You must keep "lang" directory from amigaos archive (not the one from archive
from where you got your datafiles).

3. After dealing with data files, you should have those directories, of that
size:

books: 52.626
images: 2.214.891
items: 715.247
lang: 159.535 (that one we keep from amigaos's archive)
maps: 1.377.474
models: 2.089.023
music: 180.341.137
sound: 25.547.097

Whole layout of main Barony directory in end should be like this:

books Dir
images Dir
items Dir
lang Dir
maps Dir
models Dir
music Dir
sound Dir

Barony
Barony.exe
Barony.info
README.txt
playernames-male.txt
playernames-female.txt
gamecontrollerdb.txt

4. First time you run the game, it will generate models.cache file. On x5k/ngfs
it takes about 2minutes. All the next runs of game will be fast, as that
generated models.cache file will be used.

...Recommendations...

1. Recommended to use NGFS filesystem (game operates faster on NGFS than on SFS,
on SFS you may have some micropauses)

2. Recommended to use x1000 or x5000 (for sam460 and RadeonRX all you will have
its about 15 fps, while on x5000 around 30-40). Even for PC minimum
recomendation are i3 3GHZ (!) , so no miracles.

3. Last version of OS, last version of public drivers, libraries and co.

...Final note...

AmigaOS4 port of Barony possible because of ptitSeb, who is added BigEndian and
AmigaOS4 specific changes to it. Source code are there:
https://github.com/ptitSeb/Barony

It is also build around GL4ES wrapper, which give us OpenGL 1.x, 2.x and some of
3.x over ogles2.library (by Daniel 'Daytonta675x' Mubener ') and
warp3dnova.library (by Hans de Ruiter). That GL4ES wrapper also done by ptitSeb,
and with my little help also has AmigaOS4 support. Source code are there:
https://github.com/ptitSeb/gl4es

Don't hesitate to made donation to him as even if he have no _any_ real amiga,
he help us a lot. You can made it for example there, by pressing donation button
(and don't forget to mention reassons: for amigaos4 support, so he know from
where it come):

...Changelog...

v1.01 (29.12.2018):

-- get rid of double "PROGDIR:PROGDIR:" and "PROGDIR:/" constructs (last one
cause crashes on SFS). So Barony now works on SFS, but NGFS still _VERY_
recomended, as SFS produce lags in game (you may notice some micro pauses)

-- added workaround to make it works on non-beta OS => on latest public versions
IDOS pointer looses in the deep of c++11/native threads from Barony's code
somehow, so we open dos.library/IDOS interface again to make physfs and openal
works. For next update of OS all will works even as it was, but one more time
open dos.library/IDOS make no harm anyway.

-- stack cookie was 100.000, just in case made it 1.000.000 to avoid any
possible problems

-- added amigaos4 readme with all necessary information

v1.00 (23.12.2018):

-- first amigaos4 release
