As Giddy, the egg-shaped super hero, you must solve a load of tongue-in-cheek puzzles by trundling around some strange locations, meeting distinctly odd characters and using an array of unlikely objects. All the time you must avoid the ubiquitous rampaging baddies.. Why? Cus the world is under attack by Giant Robot Stompers of course! Changes for 1.4: * No longer jumps constantly while the jump button is held * The phone box hint gives a clue that phone calls require coins * The bomb hint now disappears when it is supposed to Changes for 1.3: * Removed the workaround for a bug in MiniGL. The workaround was actually causing crashes on the spaceship level. This means that the game should no longer crash, but the viewscreen on the spaceship won't work properly until MiniGL 2.1 is released. * Fixed a bug which meant that Giddy could end up stuck in the ground if you stood in exactly the right place on one of the bubbles. * Removed the erroneous bulb effect when starting the game. * Added credits for MorphOS and Mac builds Changes for 1.2: * Fixed a nasty bug which meant that if you did some things in a particular order, the game became uncompletable. * Giddy's speech bubbles, and some other texts stay on screen a bit longer * Made the appearance of the hint bulb a little more obvious * Added joystick support, which is untested since although my joypad is supported in AmigaInput, it didn't seem to be recognised by SDL. Maybe an SDL update is required. * Amiga version string |
