Aleph One SDL is Marathon 2 compatible engine and finally you can play this game on AmigaOS 4 too :) Before playing, take a look at the offical README file. *** You also need to install the game content (free) first. *** INSTALLATION a) to install Marathon 2: - download http://trilogyrelease.bungie.org/files/marathon2.zip - unarc its contents to AlephOne directory. The files must be *directly* under AlephOne directory! - start Aleph One b) to install Marathon Infinity: - download http://trilogyrelease.bungie.org/files/infinity.zip - unarc its contents to AlephONE directory. The files must be *directly* under AlephOne directory! - start Aleph One c) to install both: - make two directories (duplicate AlephOne dir) and install them separately as described above. Sorry for inconvinience! TROUBLESHOOTER I tested Aleph One only myself so there are probably some issues. Known issues list: - only 8-bit mode works. Don't switch to 16-bit. - no OpenGL support yet. TODO - network proably doesn't work. TODO LINKS Project home page: http://source.bungie.org/ Information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marathon_%28computer_game%29 Get the game content here: http://trilogyrelease.bungie.org/ SOURCES ...will be made available ASAP.
