[Show comments] [Show snapshots] [Show videos] [Show content] [Show crashlogs] Microracers 0.2 os4: -------------------- Ok, first of all don't get too excited just yet, the game is in very early stages and is missing sound but the changes from 0.1 to 0.2 was big so lets hope 0.3 will be like great :-) Ported this one on request + Capehill ported the 0.1 ages ago but never released as it wasnt worth it but 0.2 is alot better so i decided to release. only minor changes had to be done to make it compile on os4: Makefile had to be rewritten and the linker line had to be changed (moved LIBS to the end) 4 changes to resources.cpp and main.cpp with trailings. Will see if i can do 0.3 as soon as its out , might be worth it ;) Version 0.2 November 2005 DESCRIPTION ----------- Microracers aims to be a 2D top-view car racing game. It is inspired on the old Micromachines game, but it isn't meant to be a clone of it. GAMEPLAY -------- For now, the game is just played as a race between six players. Four of them can be human players, playing on the same keyboard. Wins who completes two laps the first. Controls are listed on the main menu. FEATURES -------- This version features: - terrain types and checkpoints; - simple artificial inteligence; - dynamic rotation and change of vehicles color; - easy configuration of vehicles and trakcs through files; - multiple vehicles and tracks to choose from; - decent menu.
