The Game won 4th place in the "NoStarch game contest!" some years back. From the orginal readme: Introduction Dodge the rocks for as long as possible until you die. Kill greeblies to make the universe safe for non-greeblie life once again. Controls Up = go up Down = go down Left = go left Right = go right D = fire laser! S = Shields [VERY useful!] P = Pause ---------------------------- (stuff i saw in the source:) ---------------------------- F3 (or 3?) = Screenshot F2 (Or 2?) = Cheat? F1 (Or 1?) = Cheat? Command line Run the program with "rockdodger" rockdodger -s = silent (no sound) rockdodger -w = run in windowed mode (Full screen mode is now the default because it looks way cooler) rockdodger -h = list all allowed command line options OS4 port info: This game supports Joystick. The source had various bugs , cleaned up. The Source wanted "random" , nailed thoose one. The Highscore table has an bug (if you press Enter on an empty line) , will look into that after i emailed the guy who made this game. The game thinks green is black (alphachannel problem?) so i changed thoose base colors to make the game playable (cheat) ;). For Screenshots, look at the website/homepage of this game. This was a pretty confusing port job , its been on my harddrive for weeks (it was one of my first port attempts) and today i gave it a go and found out why and what the reason was for the problems though there might be more of them so if you find any please email me at tony.aksnes()broadpark.no . |
