5.5: (26 Jul 2009)
     Simultaneous recording and playback could cause a freeze. Fixed.

5.4: (04 Jul 2009)
     Fixed SAM audio 'noise-on-start-playback' issue.
     Monitoring levels are now set to -34.5 dB so that there is no noise from
AUX/Video etc.
     even without running Mixer.
     Now uses half the total FIFO size (64 instead of 32 frames) for playback
and recording which
     may help prevent stutter caused by PCI bus contention a bit.

5.3: (27 Feb 2009)
     Full duplex recording and playback now works.
     Removed some more debug statements that were accidentally introduced in the
previous version
