Autodoc Viewer for AmigaOS 4.
-------------------------------
This program makes it easy to read Autodoc files on AmigaOS 4.
The program has a simple to use ReAction interface.

It was originally developed by Glenn Hisdal and is currently maintained by
Costel Mincea.

Usage
-----
Add directories containing autodoc files to the directory list in the
preferences. All files ending with .doc in the given directories will be
listed to the left in the main window.

Clicking a file name in the left-hand list, will load that autodoc file, and
display its contents. The different sections found in the file will be
displayed in a list at the top of the main window. The contents of the
selected sections is displayed right below that list.

One can search through the displayed text by using the "Find" function.
(Search->Find, or RAmiga+F).
It is also possible to search for files, sections or text in all the Autodoc
files known by the program. Pressing Ramiga+S, or selecting Search->Search
in the menu will bring up the Search window.
When the search is completed, a list of matching files or sections will be
shown. Selecting a file or section will load the correct file into the main
window and jump to the desired section.

When viewing a file, double clicking on a library name or function name will
attempt to open the autodoc file for that library or function.

Features
--------
* ReAction GUI
* Read autodoc files by clicking the file name.
* Jump to a section by clicking the section name.
* Search for text in the displayed section.
* Search for files, sections or text in all autodoc files known by the
  program.
* Can open its own screen.
* Printing of documents or sections

Notes
-----
Toolbar images rely on the AISS package by Martin Mertz. If AISS is not
installed, only text buttons are shown.

You can find AISS on os4depot.net or at www.masonicons.de.

History
-------
v1.4
- Fixed a potential crash due to purely choosen gadget IDs in search window.
Thanks to George Sokianos for the report.
- Changed main window space distribution between file chooser and content
  from 30:70 to 25:75.
- Added proper iconify icon. Thanks to George again.
- Rewrote directory scanning code completely to use DOS v53 functions and
  to allow for custom pattern.
- Disabled recursive directory scanning by default. Thanks to Andy Broad
  for the report.
- When started from CLI, any arbitrarily given argument is no longer blindly
assumed to actually be an existing file.
- Fixed using a custom font for displaying the AutoDocs. Thanks to Colin
  Wenzel for the report.

v1.3
- Hotfix for non-working speedbar buttons on Final Edition Update 1. That
is what you get if you don't test on a vanilla system -.-

- Now uses AISS if available and text only buttons if not. Hence, removed
  formerly included ClassAction images.
- Replaced all deprecated function calls.
- Fixed a bunch of memory holes.
- Replaced custom expat/XML prefs system with application_lib/PrefsObjects.
- Removed 'show icons in list' setting, it is fixed now.
- Screenmode group is now correctly displayed according to setting.
- Now actually respects screenmode settings on startup again.
- Rescans directories now only if they actually changed and not every time
the prefs window is left using Save/Use buttons.
