sndfile

Based on libsndfile (a cross-platform C library for reading and writing audio
files), sndfile.library allows handling a wide variety of sampled sound file
formats through one standard Amiga shared library interface. Supported formats
and codecs include: WAV, AIFF, MP3, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, Opus, IFF-8SVX, Core Audio
File and many others.

During read and write operations, formats are seamlessly converted between the
format that the application program has requested or supplied and the file's
data format. The application programmer can remain blissfully unaware of issues
such as file endianness and data format.

The current version of sndfile.library is based on libsndfile 1.2.2 from August
2023.

INSTALLATION
Unpack the archive and click on the 'Install' icon to run the installer script.

AUTHORS
The main author of libsndfile is Erik de Castro Lopo. The library project is
currently hosted on GitHub (https://github.com/libsndfile) and maintained by the
libsndfile team consisting of:

The AmigaOS4 shared library wrapper was written by Daniel Jedlicka based on the
OS4 port of libsndfile by Fredrik Wikström.
