64tass is a cross-assembler targeted at 65xx family microprocessors. Key
features are:

  * Multi-pass compilation and code optimization
  * Familiar syntax to Omicron Turbo Assembler and Turbo Assembler
  * Supports 6502, 65C02, R65C02, W65C02, 65CE02, 65816, DTV, and 65EL02
  * Illegal opcodes
  * Integer, floating point, string, and array arithmetics available
  * Handles UTF-8, UTF-16 and 8-bit RAW encoded sources and strings
  * Built-in "linker" with section support
  * CPU or flat address space for creating huge binaries (e.g. cartridges)
  * Conditional compilation, macros, struct/union structures, and scopes

This is a native AmigaOS 4.1 build of the latest development version from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/tass64/
Amiga source code is included.

  * 64tass Shell
  * Shell front-end (c64tass) for easy compiling
  * Directory "includes" for non-local/standard include files. Shell front-end
will search non-local include files from this directory.
  * Tool for creating new software projects
