SoundCraft is an open-source digital audio workstation in the style of the
classic Edit and Mix windows: audio and MIDI tracks, clips and playlists,
edit modes and tools, fades and crossfades, busses, aux inputs, VCAs, ten
inserts and ten sends per track with built-in effects (EQ, dynamics, reverb,
delay, modulation...) and synths, breakpoint automation, a piano roll and a
score editor, memory locations, bounce to disk and audio import and export
(WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, Ogg...). This is an unofficial port of SoundCraft
0.14.0 to AmigaOS 4 (PPC). It is based on SoundCraft by the ArtCraft team
(https://github.com/storytold/soundcraft) and is not made, endorsed or
supported by the ArtCraft team. SoundCraft is not affiliated with Avid
Technology.

Requirements
- AmigaOS 4.1 on a PowerPC G3 or newer (tested on an AmigaOne X5000)
- clib4.library 2.5 or newer
- mesa.library 1.2 or newer (Mesa 3D for AmigaOS 4 by kas1e); if either is
missing or older, a requester at start says which one
- A Radeon graphics card supported by Mesa, with A-EON's RadeonHD or
RadeonRX driver (tested with RadeonRX); Warp3D Nova is not used
- AHI 6 with a working sound card driver (recording while playing needs a
  full-duplex driver)
- camd.library for MIDI input and output (part of AmigaOS 4.1)
- About 512 MB of free RAM

Installation
Unpack the archive anywhere writable and double-click the SoundCraft icon.

Amiga integration
- Playback and recording through AHI (16-bit stereo, default unit), with the
mix running at a raised priority so the sound doesn't break up.
- MIDI through camd.library: play and record the built-in instruments from a
MIDI keyboard, and send tracks to external MIDI devices.
- Sessions and audio files are opened, imported and exported with ASL
requesters; files can be dragged from Workbench onto the window.
- Copy and paste text through the Amiga clipboard.
- The window remembers its position and size and can be zoomed and
iconified, or go full screen on a screen of its own (Amiga+Shift+F).
- Shortcuts use the Amiga key (Ctrl works too), and the menus show them
that way; File > Quit (Amiga+Q).
- The system's mouse pointers for the editing tools.

Notes
- No CLAP/VST3 plugins: the built-in effects and instruments are available.
MIDI files play through the built-in instruments (no General MIDI set).
- Large sessions with many effects need a fast CPU; the demo session (File >
New..., tick "Start from the demo session") plays smoothly on an X5000.
- Full English and Spanish instructions are in ReadMe and LEEME; all
licenses are in the Licenses drawer.

New in 0.2: recording from AHI's input, MIDI in and out through
camd.library, full screen, scrolling menus, tool pointers, shortcuts
shown with the Amiga key, File > Quit, the port's version in About, and starting
from the icon right after a reboot no
longer hangs.

Built with the Rust compiler for AmigaOS 4 by AmigaLabs and clib4.
Thanks to kas1e for Mesa on AmigaOS 4, and to Andrea Palmate (afxgroup)
and the clib4 developers for clib4 (based on clib2 by Olaf Barthel).
Thanks also to Javier Rivas (Javirulo) for testing and help.
